Following the monumental announcement of their highly anticipated debut full-length album, BLOOD OF YOUR EMPIRE, which is officially scheduled to arrive on September 4th, 2026, via Atlantic Records, the enigmatic alternative force PRESIDENT has unveiled a massive UK and European headlining campaign for later this year.
This major touring announcement comes fresh off the heels of the band's first-ever full United States run, where they served as the direct support for rock juggernauts Bad Omens. PRESIDENT will briefly return to the States this autumn to headline prominent venues across the continent, a run that has remarkably already sold out completely ahead of time. Immediately following those North American dates, they will cross the Atlantic and head back to Europe and the United Kingdom for a thirteen-show run. When opening up about the profound thematic weight anchoring the new music, the artist provides a rare look into the philosophical concepts behind the tracks:
"The song is really about the strange tragedy of time — how we spend our lives chasing it, wasting it, and fearing it — only to realise its value once a moment is gone," President says. "It's a reminder for people to be present while they are actually living their lives, not just remembering them afterwards."
The overarching conceptual themes of the new single effortlessly bleed into the larger framework of the forthcoming full-length record. The artist expands on the deep existential weight that forged the project:
"Blood Of Your Empire was born out of my own struggle with existential crisis and trying to make sense of belief, mortality, and humanity's relationship with faith," President says. "Religion has inspired incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty in the world - but it has also been responsible for unimaginable suffering and bloodshed throughout history. This album lives in the tension between those two truths. Writing it became a way for me to confront the fear, confusion, and questions I've carried for years, and turn them into something I'm truly proud of."
Visually mirroring the heavy historical and theological tensions explored throughout the tracklist, the striking album cover art features a famous Eugène Delacroix painting titled The Battle of Poitiers. This legendary historical masterpiece, consequently, permanently hangs in the prestigious Louvre Museum in Paris.
