Following the highly anticipated announcement of their forthcoming full-length album, the iconic alternative rock band Sleeping With Sirens has officially unveiled their latest single, ‘Paralyzed’, alongside a brand-new accompanying visualizer. This striking track offers another glimpse into the band’s highly anticipated eighth studio record, An Ending In Itself, which is scheduled for a global release on June 12th via Rise Records.
The new single highlights a deliberate return to a more intense, hard-hitting sonic palette for the band. "‘Paralyzed’ is one of the heaviest songs on the new record,” shares Kellin Quinn. “We had a blast making it and really leaned into the bands that shaped and inspired us growing up - artists like Thrice, The Used, and Haste The Day. It’s aggressive, emotional, and captures a side of us we’ve always loved exploring.”"
Helmed by acclaimed producer Will Yip, whose impressive portfolio includes standout work with Turnstile, Circa Survive, and Movements, the upcoming record functions as both a profound homecoming and a musical reckoning for the group. Throughout the album, they successfully revive the restless, raw spirit of their classic sound while infusing it with the nuanced, mature perspectives gained over recent years. To celebrate the release, fans can currently head to the LINK HERE to purchase pre-order bundles, which include exclusive colored vinyl options complete with signed inserts, as well as a special zine CD featuring twenty-four pages of behind-the-scenes photography and handwritten lyric sheets.
When reflecting on the overarching narrative of the project, Kellin describes An Ending in Itself as both a culmination and a continuation. It effectively completes the emotional and thematic arc previously explored in How It Feels to Be Lost and Complete Collapse, while simultaneously reconnecting with the exact creative energy that first propelled the band into the spotlight years ago.
This momentum has been building steadily since the release of the album's title track and debut single, ‘An Ending In Itself,’ which earned widespread critical acclaim and prominent coverage from major tastemakers like Rock Sound, Kerrang!, Alternative Press, and Dork. Amplifying the anticipation, the band recently treated fans in New York City to an intimate, first-ever acoustic performance of the track in collaboration with Subway Creatures, a unique pop-up that quickly went viral and garnered millions of impressions across social media platforms.
Most recently, the band kept fans engaged by dropping a raw, performance-driven music video for another new track titled ‘Forever/Always.’ Channeling the distinct aesthetic of mid-2000s alternative and metal visuals, the video expertly blends nostalgic, high-contrast imagery with a cutting-edge modern sensibility. Set against the stark backdrop of an early spring forest, the band’s stripped-down, high-energy performance evokes a haunting and deeply memory-soaked atmosphere that perfectly mirrors the track's emotional weight.
