SET IT OFF ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM AND RELEASE NEW SINGLE

Now fully independent and forging their own path, American rock band Set It Off are charging into a bold new era with a new single titled ‘Rotten’. Fueled by thunderous breakdowns, gritty riffs, and powerful vocals, the latest track captures the raw intensity this new incarnation of Set It Off has been building toward.

“‘Rotten’ is about the lack of authenticity I see all around,” says frontman Cody Carson. “It’s about people who manipulate others to get what they want. They might succeed for a while, but in the end, that fake sweetness is going to rot their teeth - and the truth will come out.”

‘Rotten’ is the latest glimpse into Set It Off’s upcoming self-titled album - their first full-length release as an independent band.

“As soon as we went independent, my mind went back to being that 19-year-old kid writing music in his bedroom, with no one to please but himself,” says frontman Carson. “This album blends everything we’ve ever explored — the heaviness, the pop, the rap. It’s all here. That’s why it had to be self-titled. This is Set It Off.”

Produced by longtime friend and collaborator Jon Lundin, the self-titled record marks their heaviest, boldest sound to date.

“Every previous album was so necessary for us to be able to find this sound. This is not the final destination, but it's the road we should have been running down the whole time.” says Carson.
