STATE CHAMPS CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF ‘AROUND THE WORLD AND BACK'

A decade after the release of their game-changing sophomore album, Around The World And Back, Albany-raised pop-punk heavyweights State Champs are celebrating the milestone in style. The band has just announced a run of eight exclusive U.S. headlining shows in 2026, where they’ll be joined by a rotating cast of special guests including Cartel, Origami Angel, Real Friends, Driveways, Harrison Gordon, Broadside, Just Friends, and more to be announced.

Alongside the tour, a special anniversary vinyl edition of Around The World And Back is now available for pre-order. The reissue features refreshed packaging and, for the first time ever, includes four fan-favorite cover songs: ‘Stitches’, ‘Stay The Night’, ‘The Sharpest Lives’ and ‘Welcome To Paradise’.

“When we wrote this record, we were just kids still living at home. Now, we’re dads, husbands, and have homes of our own. This record laid the groundwork for all our future success, and we will be forever grateful to it. And to you, the listener. Thank you so very much for providing us this life.  Come celebrate this record with us. Only 8 shows this January & February alongside some incredible friends. We knew we had to do it up big for ATWAB, she deserves it!”

Originally released in 2015, Around The World And Back remains a cornerstone of 2010s pop punk. Featuring two of the band’s most-streamed tracks ‘Secrets’ and ‘All You Are Is History’ - the album debuted at #30 on the Billboard 200, cementing State Champs as a defining voice of their generation.

The anniversary tour comes hot on the heels of their new single ‘Common Sense’, released via Pure Noise Records, along with an accompanying music video. A high-energy, hook-laden track, Common Sense reveals a heavier side to the band’s ever-evolving sound while staying true to their emotionally charged, melodic core.

It also marks the band’s first new music since their critically acclaimed self-titled album dropped in November 2024. That record featured standout singles like ‘Light Blue,’ ‘Too Late To Say,’ and ‘Silver Cloud’, and received praise from Rolling Stone, AltPress, Rock Sound, and New Noise Magazine for blending classic Warped Tour-era energy with a fresh, modern edge. The release solidified State Champs as torchbearers of today’s pop punk scene.

In addition to their new 2026 tour, the band will be hitting the road this fall in the US for a small run of intimate shows before heading to the UK to support Don Broco.
