STATE CHAMPS RELEASE REIMAGINED SINGLE

Albany-raised pop-punk heavyweights State Champs have released a brand-new single and music video, ‘(For The) Hell Of It’, a reimagined take on their standout track ‘Hell Of It’ from their latest self-titled album, State Champs, out now via Pure Noise Records.

The band shared their excitement for the release, reflecting on how this version breathes new life into a fan-favorite track: “We bring you ‘(For the) Hell Of It.’ A reimagined, stripped-down version of one of our favourites from the self-titled album, which was very fun to revisit and experiment with in the studio."

Their self-titled record marked a defining new era for State Champs, showcasing their continued evolution while staying true to their pop-punk roots. The album features standout singles like ‘Light Blue,’ ‘Too Late To Say,’ and ‘Silver Cloud.’ Garnering praise from Rolling Stone, AltPress, Rock Sound, and New Noise Magazine, the record was celebrated for its perfect balance of nostalgic Warped Tour energy and modern pop-punk polish, solidifying State Champs as torchbearers of the genre.

‘(For The) Hell Of It’ arrives just as the band kicks off a short headlining run of intimate shows with special guests Stateside and Super Sometimes, hitting cities including Grand Rapids, Columbus, Asbury Park, Hartford, and Baltimore. Following their massive arena tour earlier this year with Yellowcard and A Day to Remember, these smaller shows offer fans a rare chance to experience State Champs up close and personal.

This month also marks a milestone for the band as they announce the 10-Year Anniversary celebration of their beloved sophomore album, Around The World And Back. To commemorate the occasion, State Champs have revealed eight U.S. headlining shows for 2026, featuring a stacked lineup of special guests such as Cartel, Origami Angel, Real Friends, Driveways, Harrison Gordon, Broadside, and Just Friends, with more to come.

Around The World And Back remains one of the band’s most iconic releases, featuring career-defining tracks ‘Secrets’ and ‘All You Are Is History.’ Upon release, the album debuted at #30 on the Billboard Top 200, cementing its place as one of the most influential pop-punk albums of the 2010s.

Looking ahead, State Champs will continue their high-energy year with performances at several major festivals, including Vans Warped Tour Orlando (November 15–16), before heading to the UK to support Don Broco. They’ll also return to sea on the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise in January 2026.
