Taylor Acorn has built her career on a rare gift: translating life's most overwhelming emotions into anthems that feel deeply personal from the very first listen. On her latest single, ‘Isn't It Strange,’ featuring singer-songwriter Knox, the Nashville-based artist leans into that instinct with striking clarity. The track delivers a soaring, emotionally rich duet that explores the wonder of how love consistently has a habit of finding us when we least expect it.
Serving as the lead preview for the deluxe edition of her sophomore album Poster Child, set for release on 23rd October 2026 via Fearless Records, ‘Isn't It Strange’ pairs Acorn's powerhouse vocals alongside Knox's effortless charm. Set against shimmering guitars, warm acoustic textures, and an undeniably infectious melody, the single is anchored by vivid storytelling and a chorus built to be sung back at full volume. By blending soaring pop sensibilities, high-voltage rock energy, and timeless singer-songwriter craftsmanship, the track highlights yet another dimension of Acorn's evolving artistry.
At its core, ‘Isn't It Strange’ is a meditation on life's improbable twists and the invisible forces that draw people together. Rather than trying to decode the logic of fate, Acorn embraces the mystery, celebrating the way heartbreak can pave the way for healing, how total strangers can become soulmates, and how single, fleeting moments can permanently alter the course of a life. Knox acts as an ideal counterpart, matching Acorn's warmth and sincerity as the two trade verses before combining their voices for one of the year's most uplifting vocal moments.
"I'm so excited for the world to finally hear ‘Isn't It Strange!’ We wrote this song back while writing my album Poster Child early last year - we had already written a song that day and started messing around on the guitar and it just fell out so seamlessly”, shares Acorn. “When we were cutting vocals, Knox had the idea of throwing his on too just to see what would happen and it was truly like magic. We were all so stoked and have been praying it would eventually see the light of day. I love this song so much, we are so proud of it, and I hope everyone loves it as much as we do."
This latest offering marks another significant step forward for Acorn, who has spent recent years cultivating one of the most dedicated fan communities in modern music. After carving out a distinctive lane as an independent force, she built a massive following across social platforms before signing with Fearless Records ahead of Poster Child. Her signature ability to blend deeply vulnerable lyricism with expansive, arena-ready hooks continues to draw in listeners well beyond traditional genre boundaries.
Following a massive European run supporting All Time Low, Acorn is set to bring her magnetic live performance back to the stage this autumn. She will perform at Ceremony Festival in Nashville on 17th October before hitting the road with State Champs for their U.S. headline tour, which kicks off on 5th November in Allentown, PA.
