After nearly a decade carving her own path as an independent artist, Nashville’s pop-punk powerhouse Taylor Acorn took a major leap this July, officially signing with Fearless Records - ushering in an electrifying new era. Fresh off the release of Survival in Motion (Deluxe) earlier this year, Acorn also revealed plans for her long-awaited debut LP, Poster Child, out 24 October 2025.
Building on the momentum of breakout singles ‘Goodbye, Good Riddance’ and ‘Hangman’ - tracks that solidified her as one of pop-punk’s most genuine and compelling new voices - Acorn now unleashes ‘Crashing Out.’ A blistering, hook-packed anthem straight out of the 2000s, the track channels raw catharsis with unapologetic bite.
“Can’t slow down, it only makes me want you more,” Acorn belts with urgency, distilling the chaos of a turbulent, all-consuming romance. Fueled by pounding drums, driving guitar riffs, and her unmistakably evocative vocals, ‘Crashing Out’ delivers yet another anthem that proves Acorn is leading pop-punk’s next wave.
"'Crashing Out' is a song that I wrote with Dylan Bauld and Mandy Lee from Misterwives and it’s one of my favorites off of the album," Acorn shares. "It has such an infectious nostalgic feel to it, it’s super up beat and just an all around great vibe. You can dance to it, you can crash out to it in which I’ve done both. I think the fans will really love this one and I’m so excited for everyone to hear it!"
Known for channeling the raw spirit of late-’90s and early-2000s pop-punk, Taylor Acorn brings a fresh edge to the genre that first shaped her, bridging the emotional punch of Avril Lavigne with the anthemic fire of Paramore. With her fearless mix of pop-punk, alt, and rock, Acorn is proving emo was never just a phase, she’s carrying its torch into a new era for a new generation.
Her sound hasn’t gone unnoticed. Acorn has been spotlighted across every major streaming platform:
Apple Music featured her EP with a Punk banner and included her on flagship playlists like Relationship Goals, Working From Home, Feeling Blue, Excited, and New Music Daily, along with genre-driven hubs like New in Alternative, The New Rock, and New in Punk.
Spotify championed her in Pop Punk’s Not Dead, New Noise, Women of Rock, and Fierce Femmes.
Amazon Music supported her through Breakthrough Pop, Breakthrough Alternative, Fresh Alternative, and Pop Culture.
Pandora spotlighted her in their dedicated Pop Punk category.
Now, Acorn is bringing her highly anticipated debut album Poster Child to the stage, the kind of music built for packed rooms and fans screaming every word back. She’s slated to perform at When We Were Young Fest, return to the legendary Warped Tour, and headline her own North American tour kicking off this November. Joining her as direct support is rising Los Angeles alt-rock outfit Wilt, one of the most exciting new acts in the scene.
