On the release day of their brand-new album The Fallout, THE HARA unveil the official music video for ‘Twist the Arrows.’ The album is available to order and stream now.
The Fallout sees THE HARA at their most raw and unguarded, peeling back the layers and confronting vulnerability head-on. The band has already shared visuals for ‘Violence,’ featuring As December Falls vocalist Bethany Hunter Jiménez, a track rooted in personal experience that explores the destructive pull of a two-way toxic relationship.
That emotional intensity continues throughout the record. The live-wire ‘Easier to Die’ wrestles with the loss of hope in the pursuit of success and the spiral into negative thought patterns, while the dark and intoxicating ‘Stay’ deepens the album’s sense of unease. ‘Kings’ confronts broken trust head-on. Heavy and deeply personal themes intertwine, generating the electricity that defines THE HARA’s sound and makes them such a visceral force on stage.
The latest single, ‘Twist the Arrows,’ captures the stark duality of life in a band, the euphoric highs of performing to packed crowds contrasted with the quiet disorientation of everyday life when the noise fades.
“The grind and pressure of trying to make your dreams come true can feel like a never-ending battle,” the band says. “Always searching for validation and self-worth in a world where numbers seem like everything, and so sometimes when the highs don’t exist, escapism is the only saviour - ‘drown my sorrows, to hide my feelings’.”
The accompanying video was filmed across THE HARA’s headline tour dates in Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, and the Czech Republic last November. Frontman Josh Taylor shares: The video features a mix of us on stage at the shows and us in our non band mode wondering the cities of Europe which is a nod to what the song is about - the highs of being on stage and the personas we become and then having to navigate the come down and feeling of the normality of everyday life which send us into very low mental states, feeling like we are lost and have no purpose. We can’t wait for the full album to drop on Friday and finally get all these songs on the road at the release shows and our huge UK tour in February & March.”
Throughout 2025, THE HARA tore through the European festival circuit, with standout performances at Mighty Sounds Festival and a surprise set at Rock For People in the Czech Republic, alongside UK appearances at 2000 Trees and Boomtown Festival. They supported Nothing More in Switzerland, embarked on a European headline tour, and completed a full UK run with As December Falls in October.
Their raucous genre-blending of alternative rock, metalcore, and emo has already earned them support slots with Sum 41, Nothing More, Escape the Fate, As December Falls, and Ice Nine Kills, alongside appearances at Download, Slam Dunk, Kendal Calling, TRNSMT, Tramlines, Truck Festival, and commanding main stage sets at Reading & Leeds Festival, Rock For People, and Mighty Sounds.
Now, THE HARA are set to take things even further as they embark on their UK headline tour, running from 23 January through to 22 March.
