VOLUMES ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM

Fifteen years into their career, Volumes have endured every high, low, trend, and twist life could offer, emerging stronger, sharper, and more united than ever. Through it all, a loyal fanbase has stayed by their side, growing alongside the band and waiting patiently for this next chapter.
Now, the Los Angeles quartet - Michael Barr (vocals), Raad Soudani (bass), Myke Terry (vocals), and Nick Ursich(drums) - are proud to announce their fifth studio album, Mirror Touch, set for digital release on December 12, 2025, via their longtime home, Fearless Records. The physical edition will follow on February 27, 2026. Pre-orders are available now.
Alongside the announcement, Volumes have unveiled a brand-new single, ‘S.O.A.P.’,, complete with an official visualizer.
Volumes have never sounded more confident or self-assured than they do on their ferocious new single, ‘S.O.A.P.’ Fusing crunchy, industrial-laced production with a razor-sharp balance of screamed and melodic vocals, the track explodes into a thunderous breakdown that marks the dawn of a bold new era for the band. Imagine Meshuggah and Fear Factory locked in a cage match with Terminator 2: Judgment Day’s liquid-metal T-1000, that’s the sonic mayhem of “S.O.A.P.”
"'S.O.A.P.' is about pure and impure indulgence," the band explains. "Good versus evil. Playing with fire or magic — the lines are blurred here. We self-nurture habits that are deemed immoral, although who is the person making that decisions for us?"
Across fifteen years, Volumes’ influence has echoed loudly through the heavy music landscape, boasting over 167 million U.S. streams, critical acclaim, and countless sold-out shows. They’ve carved a distinct identity through their signature blend of polyrhythmic, prog-infused metal, hardcore energy, and unapologetic attitude.
With landmark releases including Via (2011), No Sleep (2014), Different Animals (2017), and Happier? (2021), the band’s evolution has been undeniable. KERRANG! praised Happier? as “an album that gives a nod to the band’s past while still bringing in new ideas.” Along the way, Volumes have shared stages with Ice Nine Kills, Born of Osiris, Dance Gavin Dance, and Counterparts, continuing to deliver a full-scale sensory assault defined by crushing riffs, eerie atmospherics, and the venomous power of their twin-vocal onslaught.
