AFTERDRIVE ANNOUNCE UK TOUR AND DEBUT EP
Fresh off the breakout success of their hit alt-pop anthems ‘Fashion’ and ‘Neon View,’ fast-rising pop-rock heavyweights AFTERDRIVE have officially revealed their highly anticipated debut EP, Dress To Drive, which lands on all major streaming platforms on October 9th 2026. To celebrate the release, the band is hitting the road for the "Dress To Drive UK Tour," with tickets available for purchase now.
The upcoming run sees the British four-piece launch things with a hometown headline show at Baths in Ipswich on September 19th, before kicking off the main leg in Manchester on October 23rd, hitting Birmingham on October 24th, and wrapping up in London on October 27th. Full dates are as follows: September 19th at Baths, Ipswich; October 23rd at Off The Square, Manchester; October 24th at O2 Institute 3, Birmingham; and October 27th at Islington Academy2, London. As a special token of appreciation, AFTERDRIVE are offering an exclusive gift to anyone who purchases tour tickets within the next 14 days: early access to the EP's closing track, the self-titled "AFTERDRIVE (Outro)," weeks ahead of its official release.
For fans looking for an upgraded experience, AFTERDRIVE have also introduced a VIP package. Alongside concert admission, the VIP tier includes a signed limited-edition poster, an exclusive tour CD edition of the EP, early venue entry with priority merch access, a personal meet and greet featuring a photo opportunity, a commemorative VIP laminate, and the power to vote on a song for the evening's setlist.
Far more than a simple collection of standalone singles, Dress To Drive unfolds as a cinematic, four-track journey. The record traces the psychological downward spiral of a protagonist caught in the pursuit of desire, image, and escape within a culture where affection feels entirely disposable. Across its four tracks, the overarching narrative moves sharply from initial attraction to consuming addiction, detailing a dangerous slip from calm control into recklessness and eventual loss.
This EP announcement follows the release of their recent single, 'Neon View', which continues to build massive momentum across top UK radio stations and tastemaker outlets. BBC Radio 1 host Alyx Holcombe has championed the track across both her Indie Show and her BBC Introducing Rock Show, with additional radio backing pouring in from Jess Iszatt as well as local BBC Introducing host Angelle Joseph.
The unveiling of the Dress To Drive era caps off an already landmark year for the Suffolk-based group. AFTERDRIVE recently delivered a standout live performance at Ipswich's inaugural Halo Festival at Trinity Park, where they stepped up as one of the festival headliners alongside major indie acts like Two Door Cinema Club and The Vaccines - a milestone that solidifies their reputation as the region's top musical export. After launching 2026 with a sold-out headline gig at The Waterfront Studio, the band stayed busy on the road supporting The Entitled Sons, followed by a high-profile UK and European tour supporting American pop-rock star Maggie Lindemann. Having honed their explosive live show on international stages, the band's upcoming tour dates promise to be unmissable.
With Dress To Drive on the horizon, AFTERDRIVE are rapidly leaving the "ones to watch" title behind and stepping up as a dominant force in the UK pop-rock scene.
