Today, internationally renowned J-Metal pioneers BABYMETAL unleash their highly anticipated new album METAL FORTH via Capitol Records.
To celebrate the release, the group has also dropped a brand-new music video for the explosive track ‘My Queen’ featuring Canadian metal powerhouse Spiritbox. Blending BABYMETAL’s signature fusion of crushing riffs and infectious pop with Spiritbox’s atmospheric heaviness, the collaboration delivers a fierce, genre-blurring anthem.
Meaning “beyond metal,” METAL FORTH is a bold, boundary-pushing record that reimagines the future of heavy music. More than just an album, it's a fearless leap into metal’s next evolution - fusing intense heaviness with global influences and unexpected sonic pairings.
In addition to Spiritbox, the album features an all-star lineup of collaborators, including Poppy, Tom Morello, Bloodywood, Electric Callboy, Polyphia, and Slaughter to Prevail - artists BABYMETAL has built connections with while touring the globe.
Previously released singles from METAL FORTH include ‘Kon! Kon!’ (feat. Bloodywood), ‘RATATATA’ (with Electric Callboy), ‘from me to u’ (feat. Poppy) and ‘Song 3’ (with Slaughter to Prevail).
The album follows 2019’s METAL GALAXY and the 2023 concept album THE OTHER ONE.
METAL FORTH arrives on the heels of BABYMETAL’s biggest North American tour to date, which saw them perform to packed crowds in major cities including New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, and more.
