Pop singer-songwriter Lorde has unveiled her album Virgin, out now via Universal Music. This project is the New Zealander’s first full-length release in four years, signaling a bold artistic evolution. It explores themes of gender fluidity, raw femininity, and deeply personal self-examination. Lead singles such as ‘What Was That,’ ‘Man of the Year,’ and the opening track ‘Hammer’ highlight her return to synth-driven alt-pop, enriched with visceral, emotionally charged lyrics.
In support of the album, Lorde will also embark on a 2025 world tour named ‘Ultrasound’ across arenas in North America, Europe and the UK. The extensive tour will begin in North America in Austin, Texas on September 17. The European leg will begin in Luxembourg a few weeks later, on November 9, followed by Paris on November 10 and the first UK date in Manchester on November 15.
The Ultrasound world tour will also bring very special guests as support, including the likes of The Japanese House, Blood Orange, Chanel Beads, and Empress Of to name a few.
“Very proud and excited to be bringing my most talented friends in support … Come see what’s under the skin.” the singer shared on Instagram.
