MAYDAY PARADE RELEASE HEARTFELT NEW SINGLE

Mayday Parade continue their 20th anniversary celebrations with the release of ‘One Day At A Time’, a heartfelt new single from their upcoming project SAD - the second installment of their three-part album series, arriving 3 October 2025.

Bittersweet and nostalgic, ‘One Day At A Time’ captures life’s highs, lows, and the quiet inevitability of growing older. Reflective in tone, the track finds the band embracing change with emotional clarity. Guitarist Brooks Betts describes it as: “A song about growing through life and getting better as you go. Correcting the past mistakes and understanding that life changes and evolves. It’s self reflection and knowing that no one is perfect.”

The single follows ‘Under My Sweater’, a throwback emo anthem that proudly channels the spirit of early 2000s pop punk. Both tracks appear on SAD, which reunites Mayday Parade with longtime producers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount. The album sees the band leaning into atmosphere and introspection while holding fast to the soaring melodies, sharp hooks, and emotional honesty that have defined their two-decade career.

With over 1.43 billion streams, multiple platinum and gold singles, and a catalog that helped define a generation of emo and alternative fans, Mayday Parade remains as vital and creatively energized as ever.

Catch them on tour this fall alongside All Time Low, and don’t miss their return to the When We Were Young festival.
