EVILLE ANNOUNCE NEW EP

Brighton’s self-proclaimed 'Brat Metal' trio Eville - comprised of vocalist/guitarist Eva Sheldrake, bassist/singer/producer Jude Richards, and drummer Milo Hemsley - have announced their debut EP BRAT METAL, set for release on 17 October. The news lands just ahead of the band's highly anticipated performance at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival.
Leading the release is the explosive new single ‘BR4T MBL’ (pronounced brat mobile), a turbo-charged anthem drawing inspiration from Fast & Furious, Need for Speed, and the hyper-feminine flair of Y2K icons like Paris Hilton. Loaded with car-themed wordplay - each line in the first verse cleverly shifting gears, from “FIRST off the line, you’re a SECOND too late,” and beyond - the track champions a message of empowerment, putting women unapologetically in the driver’s seat. The high-gloss, high-octane video brings the vision to life with unapologetic flair.
Speaking on the track, frontwoman Eva Sheldrake says: "We wanted to write an empowering song that puts women in the driver's seat for a change."
Coining their own genre - brat metal - EVILLE fuse bratty, hyper-feminine lyricism with blistering metal instrumentals, creating a sound that’s equal parts chaos, confidence, and catharsis.
Their genre-defying approach has already caught serious attention, with early support from BBC Radio 1’s Alyx Holcombe, who named them Track of the Week twice and featured them in her Ones To Watch for 2025. Radio X has also thrown its weight behind the trio with continued airplay and support.
Renowned for their explosive live energy, EVILLE have sold out headline shows and hit the road with scene-shaping artists including WARGASM (UK), Delilah Bon, Cody Frost, THE HARA, and most recently RedHook on their sold-out UK tour. Summer 2025 marks their debut festival season, with slots at Reading & Leeds, 2000trees, Burn It Down, and more to come.
